When driving along Kampung Simee Road, you won't find difficult to spot Paragon City Hotel. It is an outstanding 6-storey building among the low rise residential houses of Simee & Star Park. It's location is quite a nice choice to serve customer whom like to gain instant access to Ipoh Garden, Canning Garden, Simee, Fair Park & Kepayang Village. Of course, it still compete with nearby budget hotels such as De Hotel and Fair Park Hotel. Anyway, the hotel should be pretty well accepted as I observe its car park is always busy. Paragon City Hotel is located only 10 minutes driving distance from the North-South Highway Ipoh Exit. The state's largest sports complex is just about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Ipoh, the capital city of Perak State, Malaysia, is the city that tin built. Located at the famous tin mining area, Kinta Valley, it used to be the world's largest tin mine since 19th century. The rapid growing town later upgraded to be the capital of Perak during the Japanese occupation at World War II. The rich tin resource had brought prosperity to many Ipoh miners that even make it once known as the City of Millionaires. Today, Ipoh has grown to cover a large area including the neighboring township such as Bercham, Tasek, Jelapang, Menglembu, Pengkalan, Simpang Pulai & Chemor.
