You may not know or not even notice that there is such a small forest locating right beside the busy Kuala Kangsar Road in this rapid growing area of Klebang. Unlike typical tropical thick forest, here you will find trees with thin and tall trunk lining up, which gives you a unique scene. Anyway, I am not optimistic of its survival in this growing area. Eventually bulldozers and heavy machineries will march in and bring them down for constructing houses or factories.

Tough Job
It is really tough to work under direct hot sun. The car mechanic is trying very hard to put the car engine back in operation. Not just the extreme hot weather that he has to bare with, but the pressure to complete his repair job as fast as possible during this afternoon rush hour at one of the busiest trunk roads in the city.

Green Belt Turns Brownish
Well, I can't stop talking topics about the hot weather. This is another typical scene when hot and dry season prolonged. Grass at road side or on the divider would normally goes dry out first due to the limited soil, which means limited reservoir of water. When the situation worsen, we may see the "green belt" along the road turn into "brown belt" and eventually "black belt"; too dry to get ignited easily by any source of fire, most often caused by cigarette butts.

Return of the Beautiful Sunset
The thick haze that attacked Kinta Valley 3 days ago went to a an unhealthy level yesterday, but dramatically, the haze has completely gone today and the clear sky is returned. I am sure everyone in the city feel relief and grateful of regaining a healthy atmosphere. And we shall be taught a good lesson to protect the mother nature properly in order to sustain a healthy and liveable environment.

Driving Into The Darkness
I could remember the raining reason has been probably started since September. It rained almost everyday since then and occasionally thunder storm strikes which flooded some lower grounds. When it happens, partly or whole atmosphere would turn into a scary darkness and bombarded by continuous lightning before the downpour.

Sun Set at Kuala Kangsar Road
It has been quite some time no colourful sunset photo posted in this blog. Just that I couldn't get a better scene to share. On my way to downtown after work, the colour in the sky caught my eyes. Without any delay, some photos were captured with my mobile phone before the traffic turn green :)

Flight Path Above
I love to look at the great blue sky in sunny days. And I often see aeroplanes flying across, sometimes not one but few at the same time. Ipoh is not a bright spot in aviation map because the city's airport only serves very limited flights (probably just one or two). However, the sky above Ipoh seems to be busy with many commercial jets passing by. Even if I don't see it directly, the passed by aeroplane would draw lines in the sky just like the photo below.

Cloudy Warm Day
The weather in Ipoh is getting warmer and warmer although there was sometimes cloudy or even thunder storm in the evening. Such condition creates high humidity atmosphere which makes people feeling much more uncomfortable. Anyway, this is kind of back to typical weather of Chinese New Year after several years experience of unexpected rainy days during this period.

Blue Sky in a Sunny Day
Even if we do not pay attention on daily weather, one would start realize the change has begun. The frequency of raining is obviously reduced & it is often sunny day with blue sky. I believe the heat will gradually accumulated & the typical warm days during Chinese New Year will come very soon.

Last Shine of 21-12-2012
21-Dec-2012, is probably a most mentioned day in recent years. And this day has come. While some people is worrying about end of world, most of us choose to live like normal. Until the evening, no mega disaster, super volcano eruption nor asteroid impact has happened. Well, when I see this last shine of the day, I was thinking whether the sun would not rise anymore. However, if today is really the end of world, I wish it would be the end of an old & ugly world. Today shall be a turning point that human being realize their greed, selfish & violence has brought so much damage. We ought to share our love & care among each other, to the environment and animals. Even just a little spark of love, if everyone willing to share theirs, it will certainly make our future more beautiful & peaceful.

Monday Sunset
Monday is coming to the end when seeing this golden sunset. The chapter of working time is over & most people are on their way home or hunting for dinning place. There is still a long way to go for completing the week while many would be busy on the month end closing activities.

White Cotton in the Sky
It's the end of a warm day. Bright sunlight is still shining in the evening. A lump of cloud in the east reflecting the sunlight while some thin layers of chiffon-like cloud merging with it. I was just half a minute delay in capturing the scene, missing the moment where these thin layers were so obviously separated that it looked like 3 blades cutting through the cotton.

Mount Korbu in Sunny Day
The atmosphere in Ipoh become fresher after morning rain & the view on surrounding mountains is so clear. Mount Korbu as seen from Kuala Kangsar Road at Klebang section is amazing. When I reach Klebang Ria recreation park, the beautiful blue sky with Mount Korbu at background simply form a great picture in this afternoon.

Big "S" In The Sky
Just mentioned in my last post of when would the clear sky returns, a downpour yesterday had eashed away the haze & give us back the fresh atmosphere. In the sunny & warm day, I was pumping petrol along Kuala Kangsar Road. In the great blue sky, I see this big piece of twisting itself forming an "S" shape. I can't explain how would it looked like but it just attracted me to think of a giant brush had splashed onto the sky.

Finally It's Open To Public
When the signboard was put up about half year ago, we all thought the KFC and Pizza Hut of Tasek would open very soon. However, the progress seemed very slow and it's only officially open to public last week, without heavy advertisement at the neighbourhood. Anyway, it is still attracting big crowd to enjoy to this very first fast food outlet in Tasek. And it's drive-through should be the first among all Ipoh's KFC branches. With more commercial shop lots going to be constructed adjacent to it, this area will potentially grow up to be a hot spot in Tasek.

Silverish Sun Set
It has been quite some time I did not catch a nice scene of sun set. Today when driving for dinner along Kuala Kangsar Road, a silverish sky appeared at west when thin clouds covering the sun. It reminded us the relaxing weekend is almost over. A brand new working week is waiting ahead.
